Join OLV Charities for a three-day pilgrimage to Washington, D.C., for the annual March for Life. Together, we will celebrate the beauty and dignity of every human life, promote respect for life from conception to natural death, and offer public prayer for the unborn, parents and families.
A Pilgrimage of Prayer & Witness
This is more than a trip to the March for Life ... it is a pilgrimage invoking the intercession of Our Lady of Victory for the end of abortion in our country and the world.
Along the way, pilgrims will visit three National Shrines:
- Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica in Lackawanna, N.Y.
- Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
- National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, Md.
The three-day bus pilgrimage will depart from OLV on the morning of Thursday, January 21, and return the evening of Saturday, January 23. Pilgrims will stay for two nights in Virginia and participate in the March for Life in Washington, D.C.
* Families, individual adults, groups, youth groups, and high school and college groups are all welcome to participate.
March Forward
Our pilgrimage doesn't end when the March does. March Forward is a special post-March gathering designed to connect participants with pro-life ministries and resources. It's an opportunity to turn the energy and enthusiasm of the March for Life into meaningful involvement in the pro-life movement here in Western New York.
